Luis Pablo brilliantly interprets our special commission. Laika, the first dog in space, was launched into space  aboard Sputnik in 1957. This piece mirrors the model of Herge's fictional Tintin and Milou standing by their rocket that took them to the moon. Laika's rocket was real and she was the fearless face of early space travel.
