Like Francisco Santiago Cruz and Coindo Melchor, Ventura Fabian is a first generation artisan whose work epitomises the origins of Oaxacan woodcarving. Ventura Fabian's Four Arm Drummer is a charming piece and shows his vivid imagination which is equally seen in the Dancing Chicken, the mermaids and many other pieces he creates.
